I have now started to produce a "Looks Like" Hornby Dublo "neverwas" range, the first item being a double track level crossing because I found it difficult to incorporate a single level crossing within my layout. Cast in white metal, it comes in three parts so as to enable installation to any existing layout without dismantling any track. It has been designed to fit into standard parallel track as created when a point and half radius bend are used. Painted in sympathetic colours to blend with an existing Hornby Dublo layout. The gates are operational and come to rest on a stud in the road or a centre post. Track not included. The foot print of the crossing is only slightly larger than the single track crossing. This is the first in a series and to follow the next two items will be a half platform and a curved platform for three rail to blend with the existing three rail track platforms.
